Personal Information Collection Statement |
- From time to time, it is necessary for goods suppliers and service providers to supply the Hong Kong Housing Authority ("HKHA") with data in connection with the administration of Lists.
- Failure to supply such data may result in the HKHA being unable to assess the eligibility for tender award or the eligibility to be selected to tender for HKHA contracts.
- The purposes for which data relating to a goods supplier or service provider may be used are as follows:
- Processing of admission onto HKHA Lists;
- Verification of listing criteria;
- Change of listing status;
- Checking of workload;
- Checking of eligibility for tendering;
- Monitoring of performance; and
- Other purposes relating thereto.
- The Housing Department is committed to ensuring that all personal data are handled in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Please refer to the Statement of Privacy Policy and Practices for detailed information.
- You have a right of access and correction in respect of the personal data submitted under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Enquiries concerning the above should be addressed to:

Important Notes |
Please observe and take the following preventive measures when using COMIS:
- At all times keep your COMIS User Name and Password information confidential. Do not disclose them to any person; in particular, do not send them via e-mail; and never assign the same Password for accessing other services (for example, for connection to the Internet or accessing other websites);
- Notify the Hong Kong Housing Authority ("HKHA") immediately of any actual or possible unauthorized use of COMIS User Name and Password and confirm the same in writing to the HKHA immediately;
- Do not give your Password to anyone in any circumstances who claims to represent the HKHA or impersonate the HKHA employee or authorized person (it is not necessary for any HKHA employee to know your Password);
- Logout the service and clear the browser cache after the online operation;
- Never leave the computer unattended while using COMIS;
- Never use public PC to access COMIS;
- Upon the first login to COMIS, change your Password immediately by selecting a new Password and destroy those documents printed with the Password subsequently;
- Do not use your identity card number, telephone number, date of birth, driving license number or popular number sequences (such as 987654 or 123456) when choosing your Password;
- Never write your Password down, memorize it;
- Keep your Password separate from your User Name;
- For security reason, change your Password regularly.
